Links4Soils

The project Links4Soils increased political/administrative/expert commitment towards stronger soil protection in the Alps.

The major objectives and corresponding results of Links4Soils are:

• better links & capacities of public administration/institutions to apply soil knowledge in decision making processes
• knowledge transferred to decision makers and sectoral plans/strategies
• a blueprint of an Alpine Soil Protection Partnership > Alpine Soil Partnership
• a web tool/platform (a new operational soil management standards) - demonstration/case studies of sustainable soil management. > Alpine Soil Platform
• innovative formats of soil communication > Alpine Soil Forum
• a collection of how sustainable soil management is possible > Soil management practices in the Alps - WEB handbook
