  • New river restoration publication

    A new river restoration publication will be available from the 20 december. It is entitled "Revitalisierung der Fließgewässer Südtirols. Hintergründe und Praxisbeispiele-Riqualificazione fluviale in Alto Adige. Contesto generale ed esempi pratici. " ( River restoration in Alto Adige/ Südtirol. General context and practical examples). 

  • A new video of ETSCH 2000 project

     A new video-documentary (in Italian language) has been produced in the context of the project “ETSCH2000 - L'evoluzione del fiume Adige negli ultimi 2000 anni" (The evolution of river Adige in the last 2000 years), developed by the Free University of Bolzano and the University of Trento (Italy).

  • Fish Passage 2018 – International Conference on River Connectivity

    The 2018 International Conference on River Connectivity (Fish Passage 2018), incorporating the First International Symposium on Hydropower and Fish Management, will bring together Northern and Southern Hemisphere fish passage researchers and practitioners to exchange findings and experiences on fish passage issues.

  • Positive effects of river restoration interventions during a massive flood event in the Eastern Alps (end of October 2018)

    The recent flood event (end of october 2018) that affected the Eastern Alps (in particular the Italian side) confirmed the clear positive effects that river restoration interventions have in terms of reduction of  flood risk.

  • From Sea to source 2.0

    The World Fish Migration Foundation launched an international book on Fish Passage experiences, called From Sea To Source 2.0. This book provides a practical guidance to tackle river connectivity issues to promote the protection and restoration of fish migration in rivers worldwide.
