Bioeconomy strategies: Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia

In recent years, the EU has established its own bioeconomy policy.  An important step in this process has been the Bioeconomy Strategy „Innovating for Sustainable Growth – A Bioeconomy Strategy for Europe“ , which was launched by the European Commission in 2012. Building on this, an update of the bioeconomy strategy with the title “A sustainable bioeconomy for Europe: strengthening the connection between economy, society and the environment” was published in 2018.

Based on the EU-wide bioeconomy strategy, the EU countries have also developed their own Bioeconomy Strategy Plans. The National Bioeconomic Strategies include guidelines, objectives and implementation measures. Here you can read more about the Bioeconomy Strategies of our AlpBioEco project partner countries Austria, France, Germany, Italy and Slovenia!
