On behalf of ISCAR, we would like to draw your attention to the upcoming  ForumAlpinum 2018 on “Alpine Water – Common Good or Source of Conflicts?” which will be jointly organised with the 6th Water Conference of the Alpine Convention and EUSALP and will take place from 4 to 6 June 2018 in Breitenwang (Lech Valley, Tyrol), Austria.

The risk of conflicts in water use and water management in the Alps due to changing environmental and climatic conditions as well as growing demand will be the focus of the ForumAlpinum, which will identify hot spots of water use and management in the Alps, analyse target conflicts assessing their relevance in a regional, national or international context and discuss possible solutions.

All contributions to the ForumAlpinum with workshops, inputs, poster presentations or other formats presenting projects or actions concerning the current or future use and management of Alpine water will be well received by the Organizing Committee.

Please submit your proposal not later than 10 January 2018 using the online-form. All proposals need to be written in English.
